Washington (we lovingly call him Squash) is from our first Russell litter (Heath & Savvy). He achieved his Championship title at just 10 months of age and his Grand Champion title at 12 months, and at 15 months of age he sealed his International Champion title with two Best In Shows and a Reserve Best In Show.

He is our first home grown Champion / Grand Champion / International Champion (completely Owner Handled), and we love him to pieces.

Along this journey he has earned many Best of Breeds, Best Of Opposites, as well as Group Placements (both Variety and Owner Handler) in addition to his Best In Shows and Reserve Best In Shows. He also earned his AKC Temperament Test Title (ATT). We are excited to watch him continue to mature and for all his future successes as we continue to show and campaign him.

Washington finished the 2023 season ranked #2 Owner Handled / #12 Overall Russell Terrier in the USA, earning an Award of Excellence at the 2023 AKC National Championships in Orlando Florida. He is also one of nine Russell Terriers with the lifetime achievement of earning his National Owner Handler Series Gold Level Award.

He finished the 2024 season (September to September) ranked #3 Owner Handled, and is currently sitting #6 Overall (Jan-Dec) Russell Terrier in the USA. He is currently sitting #3 Owner Handled Lifetime Achievement.
