With our first couple of emails, I felt that Bree was the Russell breeder for me. And Ms. Bee, whom I ultimately ended up with from Bree, is, well, the absolute BEST! It feels like we’ve never been without her; she fits in so well.
I contacted Bree on March 2, 2026, after finding her on the AKC Marketplace, which directed me to her Breezy Meadows website. From the filling out/submission of her puppy questionnaire until the end of our scheduled Zoom interview, she was (and continues to be) incredible and everything my gut indicated she’d be. She asked all the right questions of me and was very forthcoming/transparent with HER responses to my questions, especially those around health testing, breeding ethics, training, and placement of puppies. She LOVES her dogs, takes great pride in her breeding program, and is extremely protective of her pups/dogs when placing them to ensure the best fit for both pup/human. EVERY breeder should be as conscientious as Bree.
As for Ms. Bee….we brought her home on April 1, after meeting her during my interview in March with Bree. When I told Bree we’d love to have her, we worked out a date to fly from Olympia, WA, to pick her up, and ordered a flight bag for delivery to Bree so that Ms. Bee could become accustomed to it. Bree has a wonderful, detailed process in place for those individuals whom are recipients of one of her dogs – it involves spending a “meet & greet” day with her that entails a grooming lesson, a training session of what/how she’s been working with the dog up to the point of pick-up, and a wonderful binder which contains all pertinent records for the dog (i.e. pedigree, feeding schedule, shot record and other informative documents). This was so helpful as well as FUN! We enjoyed it, and to top it off, we were able to see her facilities and meet ALL of her “little white dogs”, several of whom were related to our Ms. Bee, including her Sire. When we picked Ms. Bee up the following morning, Bree had very thoughtfully gotten her a bumblebee toy for the trip, a lovely yellow leash/collar, and some other essential travel items to ensure all went well….and Ms. Bee in her flight bag – A TROOPER – you’d never have known it was her first time flying!
Ms. Bee is and has been such a delight from Day 1! From her “Reptilian Death Roll” moves with her toys to her “Zoomies” in/out of the house, she provides such laughter and entertainment to us. We take her with us everywhere we can, and she’s never met a person (or dog) she doesn’t love! Mike indicated on one recent occasion that we should have charged admission as on the beach, we had at least 12 people (all non-related) gathered around us, asking about her breed, petting, passing her around, and loving on her! Several, somewhat familiar with the breed, stated they’d never seen one that had such a good temperament/non-barkie as she was – she has proven every day what an incredible ambassador of the breed she is! She’s well-adjusted, adaptable, incredibly loving and affectionate, SMART, and she’s PERFECT for us/our lifestyle as Bree indicated she would be. I owe this to responsible breeding and the work/training Bree has provided her from a young age, which we are continuing. On May 22, Ms. Bee will be 6 months old, and in June, we’re looking forward to our first (of many) planned adventures. She’ll be carrying the title “Road Warrior” soon, in addition to her current title, “Master of the House/Keeper of the Inn.”

Ted (Teddy) joined our household in January of this year, and from the moment he walked into our home, he has been a happy, confident, and friendly new family member.
As one of Bree’s "older" pups, Ted participated in her puppy training course before coming home. We have been blessed with a very well-behaved boy who adapts easily to every situation. He is also undeniably adorable; he recently stopped traffic in our neighborhood when two women pulled over just to ask what kind of puppy he was and where we got him.
Ted has also charmed our long-time family veterinarian and a visiting doctor, both of whom commented on his beautiful looks and wonderful temperament. The office staff had a great time doing an impromptu photo shoot with him, and Ted was a willing subject. (see photo)*
Working with Bree throughout the entire process—from learning about her Russell Terriers to bringing Ted home—has been even better than we imagined. Bree continues to offer support and answers any questions with kindness, patience, and a wonderful sense of humor. We truly feel like we have added both a lovely pet and a very sweet friend to our lives.

Georgie continues to be the sweetest boy. I feel like I've got the best puppy you've ever produced. He is very good about "leave it" if I can catch him before he has a grip on something like shoes. Though I know he will only get better with the foundational training you gave him. He LOVES going for walks and hasn't discovered yet that he's never going to catch those squirrels and birds! I got a grooming table, and he's really good at letting me get off some of that fuzz. Thank you again for bringing him into my life.

Breezy Meadows Russell Terriers is always well represented at the ACK shows in our region. Owner, Bree Beery, is extremely knowledgeable with the breed. Her pups are bred and raised with lot of love. As a result, they are very well adjusted. When we were lucky enough to bring home one of her Russell Terriers, we knew we would have a happy, healthy and curious little dog. Not only did he fit in seamlessly with our existing dogs, he quickly became my daughter's best friend as well as a fun and loyal buddy for my husband and I. Thank you Bree!

We can't put into words how much we adore our sweet Ollie! From the moment we brought him home, he has been pure love! He is affectionate, gentle, playful, and full of heart. He truly is a dream come true. Ollie gets along with absolutely everyone, kids, adults, and other dogs. He has an easygoing temperament and is so smart and eager to please. People constantly stop us to say how special he is, and we couldn't agree more. We are endlessly grateful to Bree for giving Ollie the best possible start in life. You can feel how much love and care he was raised with. Thank you for the greatest gift - we are completely in love.

Rahmi is doing AMAZING and she really is just perfect...everything is perfect! You need to raise all our future dogs through 6 months!

* Rahmi (Mischief) was our girl that we ran on from our Howl-O-Ween litter. Sadly, for us, she did not meet the height requirements for the show ring. For that reason, we decided it was best to find her the perfect forever home.

I could easily make this long with priase of great Breeder/Buyer communications. There's much more. Both Bear and Moose came to us with extras. These included handling and training that helped us blend these guys into our family. Wonderful healthy, confident, well adjusted dogs, blankets, treats, chew, essential oils and even a stuffed Moose for Moose (who he still sleeps with). It is wonderful to be part of the Breezy Meadows family. Our dog journey is made smooth and fun with Bree's knowledge and advice. Thanks now and in the future.

At this point in time, we’ve known Bree for just over a year from first contact. In that time, Bree has shown herself to be a wealth of knowledge on the Russell Terrier breed, an advocate for the health and well being for all dogs, and extremely personable and fun.
We picked up our pup in August, and since then, she has been and will continue to be an extension of our family. She responds to my terrier questions when challenges arise with thoughtful replies and suggestions following up with a genuine interest to make sure all is ok.
